Over the past five years the number of people choosing to build there own homes or carry out major renovation projects has grown both here in England and abroad. With this increase comes requirements such as home automation & control, automatic garden irrigation etc. Seltech Systems can remove the added problems sometimes associated with the installation of a home security system that meets insurance requirements and has the added options only available to a professionally installed system.

This is where we are able to help, many self - builders either carry out the building works themselves or employ a number of sub-contractors, Plumbers, Plasterers etc.

DESIGN. At the outset of your project, plans will have been drawn and agreed by your architect design consultant. Upon starting works self builders wishing to make use of our service should forward a spare set of floor plans to us here at Seltech Systems, upon receipt we will contact you to obtain any further information we may require regarding design & personal requirements. At this stage we will then mark up the supplied floorplans depicting the optimum positions for the detection devices and control equipment, from this we will produce a full specification and quotation for the design and supply package. This will then be forwarded to you the client.

SUPPLY. Upon receipt of the written specification & quotation which will include all possible options available all items should be checked against your requirements and any possible plan changes. If the specification meets your requirements all you need to do is complete the enclosed documentation. When the build process reaches the required point the full alarm kit along with the competed plans will be dispatched for you or your sub-contractor to install the necessary alarm cabling to the positions as shown on the completed plans. The control equipment will be sent part programmed ready for full configuration after installation by you or your subcontractor.

CONFIGURATION. Upon completion of the installation of all equipment including the connection to mains power and an operational telephone line, (No phone line available? No problem phone us for alternative options). Seltech Systems will connect to your alarm control equipment via the telephone network and on-board diagnostics modem and up-load all remaining programming data inclusive of any design changes during construction and installation.

SUPPORT. Following the configuration of your intruder alarm system including the setup of part arming options, setting delays etc. Seltech Systems will then complete all user guides and system documentation which will then be sent out for your use

During the complete process, through all the stages of DESIGN - SUPPLY - CONFIGURATION we will offer a full on-line / telephone support service to help guide you through the installation works.

With the alarm system fully operational our service does not end there, during the next 12 months following installation we will on two occasions dial into your system and carry out a full diagnostics check and forward you a copy of our findings and recommendations via email. This service may be extended after the initial 12 months for a small annual charge, this service will also include any re-configuration uploads that you require.

INSTALLATION SERVICE. Where required we are able to offer an installation service where you or your Electrician can install the alarm cabling as per our pre designed plans and then we will allocate one of our intruder alarm engineers to complete the system Installation.
